Senior Account Manager – CL – (Toronto)

Duties will include, but not be limited to:

  • Providing full client service for an assigned portfolio in a timely manner
  • Assisting with new business, renewals, in-house/cross-referrals, account-rounding
  • Reviewing client insurance requirements, assessing exposures and making recommendations
  • Obtaining all required information from client in a timely manner in order for CSR/Marketer to prepare submissions, proposals, summaries and binders of insurance, as required
  • Assisting with new business and/or renewal presentations as required
  • Ensuring payment for new business is obtained in advance or at time of binding; and renewal premiums collected within 30 days
  • Provide internal & external clients and colleagues with prompt and professional support and service, demonstrating courtesy and respect
  • Ensuring adherence to our corporate and insurer guidelines, and underwriting standards of our insuring partners


  • 3+ years experience servicing a commercial lines book in a client and/or producer facing capacity
  • RIBO licence, active and in good standing, is required
  • Other industry designations such as CIP, CAIB, etc., would be considered an asset


  • Excellent organizational, written & oral communication skills
  • Strong attention to detail
  • A self-starter with advanced skills in Outlook, Excel, Word and experience with PolicyWorks and The Agency Manager (TAM) would be considered an asset
