Pioneer Insurance Brokers is a multi-line insurance provider that has been serving the Waterloo Region since 1983. Since inception, we have not wavered from our commitment to provide competitively priced insurance solutions and superior service to our clients.

In 2013, Pioneer became part of the RRJ Insurance Group Limited, thus increasing our presence throughout the province. As part of the RRJ Insurance Group, we have the ability to provide our clients with access to Canada’s largest insurance companies, while still maintaining that “small-town feel”.

At Pioneer we take pride in our community and make a concerted effort to support activities and charities in Waterloo Region and the surrounding area. Pioneer is a member of the Insurance Brokers Association of Ontario (IBAO) and our brokers are Registered Insurance Brokers of Ontario (RIBO) licensed.

Over the last year Pioneer Insurance Brokers has welcomed new customers from Malik Insurance in Waterloo and All-Risk Insurance Brokers in Cambridge. We have had to move to a larger building next door at 515 Riverbend Drive to make room for our new staff.

On March 1 2020, our office, in addition to the other RRJ Insurance Group offices, changed their name to KRGinsure. By combining our business under a single brand and leveraging our data, technology and capital capabilities across RRJ we will be even better positioned to offer innovative solutions to agents, brokers, insureds, and carriers. With offices in Toronto, Oshawa, Orillia, the Kawartha’s and the Muskokas and has the ability to provide competitively priced insurance solutions with superior service.
